Fixed asset audit services

What is a Fixed Asset Audit?

The fixed asset audit procedures are for those assets that are expected to last more than just a year such as land, buildings, assets, and equipment. Architects are building professionals that are experienced in assessing buildings and are therefore the ideal people to conduct such audits. We also check for compliance with regulations.

HOSPITAL AUDITS: Health Facilities in EC

In 2005 BNM was approached to be part of a team convened by CSIR initially, on behalf of the Department of Health, to assess 87 Health Facilities in the Eastern Cape. The teams had to travel to the various sites, conduct on-site auditing

and assessments of the buildings and some equipment – checking both suitability and condition and then complete the reports and findings in the office.

SCHOOL AUDITS: Special Schools in the EC

In 2018 BNM was approached to be part of a team convened by BTKM on behalf of the Department of Education to assess 19 Special Schools in the Eastern Cape. The teams had to travel to the various sites,

conduct on-site auditing and assessment and then complete the reports and findings in the office. They checked both the suitability and condition of the buildings in terms of the learners that they serve.

Most recently BNM was contracted by CDC to conduct Fixed Asset Audits at four facilities, using the ArcGIS Survey123 App:

  • Sunday’s Valley Hospital
  • Willowmore Hospital
  • Motherwell Nu2 Clinic
  • Masakhane Clinic
