Project description: The project was initiated by the National Department of Health and implemented by CDC. This is an existing hospital that is being upgraded under the SMART revitalisation programme. BNM was not part of the original consortium that won the bid upon request from the client, took over as the Principal Agents on this project. This happened one year after site handover.
MEJE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE

Project description: The project was initiated by the Department of Health and implemented by CDC. The new CHC serves a very rural community in Mbongweni Village, close to Bizana. BNM was originally appointed as Health Planners but, upon request from the client, took over as the Principal Agents on this project. This happened shortly before site handover. (BNM are not the architects).
The new CHC includes, amongst others, the following services: Acute care, chronic care, mother and child wellness, as well as Maternity facilities and an A& E unit.
