This year, BNM proudly celebrates 100 years in business! The firm, in its original form, was started back in 1925 by Hendrik Siemerink who was joined by his daughter Truida and her husband Jack Brinkman, the firm initially being known as Siemerink & Brinkman Architects.
Rousseau Phipps McAll Inc. Quantity Surveyors was founded in Uitenhage in 1973 and Colin McAll joined the firm in 1980.
In 1999, three entities, with Elliot Ndayi from Superb Properties, Colin McAll from Rousseau Phipps McAll and Brinkman Van Rooyen Browne & Sutton formed a joint venture, officially becoming Brinkman Ndayi McAll cc in 2001.
After various changes spanning more than a decade, BNM cc transitioned to BNM Pty Ltd in Aug 2020, now directed by Andrew Pritchard, Cobus Lombard, and Arinda Swart, maintaining its unwavering client commitment.
Professional, consistent, with a heart for community and its needs – names come and go but BNM’s core business remains the same.
Our core business is the architectural design and documentation of buildings ranging from R5m to R500m, and more. We offer the full package of professional services from Stage 1 to 6 as outlined by our regulating body, SACAP.
We are proficient at managing your project from inception to close out stage; co-ordinating the professional team and interacting with both the client and contractor. BNM also has vast experience in managing construction projects in a “live” environment.
BNM offers a number of specialist services. We are well known for our vast experience in public buildings, especially with regards to healthcare facilities – offering Health Facilities Design & Planning. We have also been involved in a number of Fixed Asset Audits. Most recently we have been approached to step in as PA only on projects where the contract needs targeted intervention.
